Benjamin Raich is one of the greatest alpine skiers of all time and an instrumental contributor to BOA’s alpine ski boot debut. He has won two Olympic gold medals, three World Championship titles, and an overall World Cup victory in the 2005/06 season. For nearly 20 years, from 1996 to 2015, Benni competed in the World Cup circuit, collecting an impressive 36 race victories.
Following his retirement from professional skiing, he transitioned into a new role on Austrian TV where he provides profound commentary during live broadcasts of World Cup races. With his wife Marlies, a former ski racing superstar herself, Benni has three children and is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of skiers as they actively support and guide young talents through their Race Center Benni Raich, providing training and mentorship to aspiring talents.
